We are looking for a Global Commodity Team Leader, Electronics to help us achieve our goals. In this position, you would work within the Honeywell Corporate Electronics-EMS Centre of Excellence (EECoE) in supporting our Building Technologies and Performance and Material Technologies HPS Smart Energy businesses working on strategic procurement initiatives.
You would be responsible to develop, communicate and execute the commodity strategy throughout the organizations by planning, organizing, and controlling strategic activities surrounding the acquisition of semiconductor, passive, and distribution commodities for the Building Technologies and Performance and Material Technologies-HPS Smart Energy including management of key supplier relationships. You would work closely with theEECoECategory Managers, Operations, Engineering, and Product Management teams as they work to implement Supply Chain Management strategies that are competitive enablers for our business by providing the highest performing and lowest total cost of ownership supply solutions.
Position Responsibilities Include:
·Managing performance, commercial terms and strategic relationships with all semiconductor and passive suppliers.
·Development & execution of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) covering productivity, delivery, quality, and lead time improvement for selected commodities
·Executing successful supplier transitions and implementing consignment, stocking, and 3PL solutions with suppliers to improve overall supply flexibility and responsiveness
·Deploying Emerging Region and Supply Localization strategies to meet both the total cost of ownership needs of our business and the dynamic supply needs of Building Technologies and Performance and Material Technologies-HPS Smart Energy factories globally
·Maintaining continuous in-depth knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and developing technologies
·Establishing and managing key supplier performance objectives and communicating periodic results to plan
·Resolving delivery and quality issues through root cause analysis and appropriate supplier escalation
·Owning all sourcing decisions including supplier evaluations, selections, and competitive bid processes via traditional negotiations and e-Auctions
·Negotiating supply agreements in support of overall supply chain goals and objectives
·Promoting and monitoring early supplier involvement in key product developments, using the supplier’s expertise to optimize quality and manufacturability
·Management & development of 4 direct reports and 4 matrix reports.
This position supports key growth initiativesglobally,and hence provides significant visibility and growth potential for the right candidate

·7+ years’ experience in electronics with specific experience in semiconductors and passives
·5+ years of people management experience
·5+ years Sourcing & Commodity Management experience
·Strong communication and leadership skills dealing with a global cross-functional team
·People management & development
·Excellent teaming abilities
·Stellar negotiation skills
·Demonstrated strategic planning and execution
·CPM, CPSM, and/or APICS certification a plus
·Engineering background a plus
·Ability to work comfortably in a highly matrixed organizational environment
·Ability to travel per business needs.
