Job Summary:

The role is responsible for providing business partnering to two Sales leaders based in UK and Europe as well as overseeing month end close activities and being accountable for timely consolidation and reporting of financial and operational accounting information. This role supports the UK and Europe Sales leaders and the EP LOB Finance Leader as well as the EP GM, Sales, Marcom, FP&A, and EP LOB management.

Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Pro-active business partnering support to the UK & Europe regional sales, marketing, and customer service functions for the region.
  • Ensuring the integrity of monthly management reporting to the business management team and to BP Finance.
  • Ensuring the business meets all Honeywell and statutory business control requirements, in co-ordination with the Country / Regional Controllers, and Regional Finance team.
  • Driving process and control improvements with the Controllership / Finance and the business teams.
  • Providing supporting documentation for month end accounting entries such as accruals for rebates and incentives, as well as month end revenue reconciliation
  • Analysis and reporting of variances in the operational entities prior to posting of results.
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts (AOP and periodic estimates), follow-up to understand and drive with management corrective actions where variances exist.
  • Control of pricing and maximization of price opportunity - driving pricing initiatives and analysis and ensuring adherence to SEA
  • Evaluation of commercial opportunities and costs - investment evaluation.
  • Customer and product line profitability analysis
  • On-going review of cost base and proposal and evaluation of cost reduction opportunities.
  • Drive reduced levels of working capital in accordance with Honeywell targets.
  • Leading/Supporting ad hoc projects as required.

Key skills/Qualifications:

  • Business experience in a financial accounting or financial analysis / reporting role with a large multinational company.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise information and formulation of strategy.
  • Experience of providing financial support in a product business.
  • Pro-active approach, capable of working on own initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Credible individual with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent Excel, HFM, SAP, and other systems skills.
  • Execute the responsibilities to lawful and ethical standards, as per the Code of Conduct.
  • Good grounding in Controllership techniques and requirements.
  • Customer focused and continuous improvement mindset.
