The Data Privacy Business Analyst is part of a team that operates a global data protection program. Specifically, the team will analyze and define, and process requirements to support data protection requirements including, but not limited to; data loss prevention, data discovery, data classification, data access and other requirements such as Client Consent.
The Data Privacy Business Systems Analyst is responsible for managing the elicitation, collection, analysis, documentation, and communication of business end users’ requirements. The goal of the Data Privacy Business Analyst is to help drive our businesses towards optimal technical solutions, while supporting one or more IT Projects with moderate complexity.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assesses customer needs on IT projects utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advise on options + Develops, writes and communicates business requirements to the IT community for the design and implementation of business solutions.Ensures tractability of requirements throughout projects lifecycle including Statement of Work (SOWs) with suppliers
Helps to identify opportunities for customers to improve utilization of existing information technology assets
30 Document Business Requirements and business rules
40 Integrating/adopting regional (US) and EU (GDPR) requirements
15 Work with technology partners to develop technical specifications
15 Support data protection processes, tools and service providers
