  • The ideal candidate would have strong presentation skills, hands on and analytics driven approach for root cause assessment and solving problems, ability to engage with external auditors and a cross-regional team supporting this function, and comfort in dealing with ambiguity in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • This position will manage the design, development and maintain the control framework and check compliance by performing analysis and review transactions with a strict adherence to GAAP, SOX compliance, and/or department policies.
  • Develop, implement and monitor appropriate internal controls to ensure conformance and compliance to U.S GAAP and other statutory requirements.
  • Partner with the business to develop, implement and monitor audit remediation plans.
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional departments to resolve issues, improve efficiencies, meet key objectives and ensure compliance, as required.
  • Act as a contact point for various internal and external audit requirements.
  • Contributes to the implementation of new and updates to financial systems (HFM, SAP).
  • Provides technical expertise and guidance to staff and internal customer groups on specific elements of audits and subsequent recommendations.
  • Prepare quarterly internal controls report outs.
  • Assist with establishment of training programs as it relates to internal controls/SOX compliance.
  • Work closely with various members of the Finance team on ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • 8+ years related Finance & Accounting experience.
  • Understanding of COSO principles and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP reporting & management reporting needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a simple, understandable manner to all levels of organization, including management.
  • Strong organization and planning skills and ability to work effectively across different organizations and cultures.
  • Process oriented – proactively questions current practices and drives improvements.
  • Ability to quickly and positively influence others.
  • Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Complex Problem Solving – Identifying complex problems and reviewing relating information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
