UOP has an immediate need for a Senior Business Leader , in UOP’s Lifecycle Business Solutions Team in our Des Plaines, IL office. Travel of up to 25% may be required to domestic and international sites
The Lifecycle Business Solutions Senior Business Leader will be responsible for managing and expanding the existing services portfolio and developing new service related offerings, to serve the company’s existing customer base in the Refining, Petrochemical and Gas industries. Using deep industry knowledge of customer requirements, market dynamics, and competitor offerings, the senior business leader will develop a business strategy to grow the service business by leveraging existing offerings in process technology, engineering and equipment as well as catalyst and adsorbent reload engagements and the GPH equipment offering. This position will also drive UOP services to deliver optimum quality, profitability, value, and technology transfer through effective cross-functional and regional relationships.

Enable UOP’s businesses to significantly grow the service product line revenue and margin from the current base
Oversee and lead the Market Analysis, Voice of customer, Product-line Competitive Analysis, Value Propositions, Product Positioning, and Financial Analysis
Lead and provide strategy for the service business, including pricing and sales support strategy for services provided by UOP
Translate market needs into new product/service specifications
Leverage the UOP sales function to pursue new opportunities aggressively, forecast and coordinate the required sales support resources
Management of business execution and provision activities through the engineering, service and equipment functions
Work to prioritize new product development initiatives and strategically manage product lifecycles. This includes building and maintaining a strong new services product development (NPD) pipeline
Develop & implement of 5-year strategic plan, AOP and monthly financial forecasts
Assure company-wide understanding of service business
Working with ES&E oversee organizational capabilities through resource planning, hiring, developing, and managing staff as required to successfully execute accountabilities
