Material Coordinator Role

Spec:-

The Material Coordinator role will be involved with the stores area of the factory. Under supervision from the stores supervisor, the Material Coordinator will control the incoming material, stores locations, material shelf life controls and issuing of material to the production line.

The material coordinator will also assist in the material planning process and have an influence on the way jobs are released to the production facility. The role will also include stock checks, and cycle counts along with stock write off and scrap material handling. An understand of the planning and financial reason for stock control and methods is important.

·Prior knowledge of stores, and an awareness of material planning and site finance
