Provision of a Commercial, Contractual and Financial Management service to projects in the Global Major Projects portfolio to ensure Project and Business profit objectives and targets are met and cash is managed to maximise cash performance. This is to be achieved through diligent application of proper contractual and commercial practices aligned with internal Honeywell systems and the careful management of risk.
Generally provide strategic commercial and contractual support to all aspects of the Global Major Projects (GMP) portfolios. Ensure the preparation, timely submission and forensic review of Monthly Contract Review reports for all GMP’s. Work with the Operations Teams to immediately mitigate and recover any negative monthly movement. Ensure Risk and Opportunity and especially cost control are aggressively managed and prioritized/optimized in Monthly reviews
Provide contractual and commercial input and oversight on all GMP bids, tenders and cost estimates at a strategic level
Ensure appropriate and robust methods are in place to identify change on all GMPs and ensure timely implementation of change control processes on all GMPs Ensure that contract documents are properly executed prior to project commencement on all projects
Provide tactical leadership on all GMP-related contractual claims ensuring that the notification, compliant substantiation and follow-up are on a contractually sound footing whilst maintaining effective communications with Client Teams throughout. Claims trackers to be mandatory on all GMP projects and aggressively managed. Primary liaison with Legal Teams is a given in this aspect
Ensure GMP payment applications are technically and commercially sound in all aspects and that all required back up is included. Liaise with Client Team Senior Commercial Management to facilitate timely issuance and payment on GMP certificates month-on-month
Ensure Honeywell is the customer's top choice by directing an efficient and effective Customer & Product Support function
