Working within the Sales Support Centre team, the Solution Architect will work with senior staff members (internally) and senior procurement officers (externally) and will be responsible for the delivery of the high quality solutions and bid proposals within a specific time limit, and in line with Honeywell standards of quality. You will be responsible for managing one or more enquiries (direct invitation to Honeywell via Sales and/or Business Development Teams) or bids open in response to open tenders. You will also be required to manage the bid process within the guidelines established by Honeywell bidding processes and procedures. You are required to travel at short notice and required to stay for short periods of time to Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and other countries in Middle East to support the ICT and Security projects in line with company travel and security policies.
You will be required to use your extensive subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultations, and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will foster cross-functional alignment to customer needs and participate in pursuit strategy planning and customer negotiations. You may consult prospective users on product capability whilst providing valuable input for product development.
