The Electrical Controls Engineer (II) implements electrical and control projects as the Lead Controls Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system. Controls Engineer provides planning, reporting and management of the electrical and controls portions of material handling systems for an integrated system or subsystem, in addition to technical implementation. The Electrical Controls Engineer takes full ownership of the electrical and controls project elements and executes (and/or delegate) individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and forecasting controls resources in-house and on site (may include other Controls Project Engineers). The Engineer takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, overall electrical and controls architecture and manages the scope, budget (OA’s, CO’s), schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 Years of PLC Controls Engineering experience in similar position.
  • Experience with STL and Ladder Logic in Siemens PLCs and Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs.
  • Leadership experience (Project Lead, Project Manager, Supervisor Team Lead, or similar
  • Able to travel up to 50%
