Chemical Process Engineer

Use your knowledge of chemical process engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell PMT deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will provide process engineering support, analyze manufacturing processes, implement process improvements, develop and maintain process safety information. Provide technical expertise in the daily operations of the unit, operational support (OEE), monitoring process yields. You will ensure production unit reporting through downtime data, yields and utilize production loss data to provide deep insight in efficiency of operations and to identify most meaningful bad actors to work on and select appropriate approach to solve. You will provide facilitative leadership to the operators in problem resolution using Root Cause problem solving and statistical tools. You will champion six sigma productivity projects and write capital requests.

  • Process Safety - PHA revalidation support, track and close out Stature items for the production unit
  • Management of Change – Perform design reviews, PSSRs, initiate and manage eMOC for the unit
  • Standard Operating Procedures – Develop new and revise existing procedures

    40 Technical and troubleshooting support production unit

    20 Lead Six Sigma Improvement projects

    20 Administrative – eMOCs, Standard Operating Procedures reviews, Safety Walks, etc.

    20 Process Safety – PHA Revalidation support

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 1-3 years experience in process/product engineering in a manufacturing environment
WE VALUE
  • Masters in Chemical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of process engineering standards and specifications
  • Aspen Plus or HYSYS or some process modeling knowledge is valuable
  • Ability to focus on important information and identify key details
  • Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks
  • Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Green Belt Certification
