This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Homes and Global Distribution team at Honeywell! Homes and Global Distribution is a leader in the home heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) controls and security markets, and a leading global distributor of security and fire protection products. In 2018, Honeywell will be spinning off the Homes and Global Distribution business into a stand-alone, publicly traded company. Being a stand-alone company will provide the business the independence, focus, direct financial resources, and flexibility required to adapt quickly to market and customer dynamics, and we want you to be part of its evolution.
The Senior Director of Strategic Marketing will drive a unified Strategic Plan (STRAP) to create and execute strategic initiatives to grow our HVAC and security portfolio through the professional installation channels. You will get out front and identify, develop and drive longer-term strategies and initiatives that will enhance our positioning. You will also provide a roadmap for new business building efforts; build detailed business plans for key strategic growth initiatives; and contribute to STRAP and Annual Operating Plan commitments. The Senior Director of Strategic Marketing will produce in-depth market assessment, sales information and customer retention data to define gaps in business strategy and develop recommendations for action based on sound analysis. You will partner with Offering Management and other functional stakeholders in the Voice of the Customer (VoC), primary and secondary research activities in effort to drive fact-based decision making. You will partner with key stakeholders in the organization and drive the development of Breakthrough Initiatives (BTI) in order to deliver significant incremental revenue growth. The Senior Director of Strategic Marketing will prepare reports and offer interpretation of competitive activity for sales, marketing, operations and executive management. The role can be located in Golden Valley, MN or Meville, NY with relocation assistance provided.
