Job Title: Product Support Engineer

Position Summary:

Provide Technical/Product Support to customers over Phone & E-mail as and when needed.

Description of Duties:

• Provide Technical Support, Installation, and Commissioning Support via phone and

email (when needed) for Notifier, Morley, Firelite, System Sensor, Esser, VarioDyn.

• Understand the common problems faced in Fire Installations and/or Life Safety

Products Ensure accurate issue resolution to customers backed with complete

documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education

- B.E / B.Tech – Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation preferred

Or

AMIE or Diploma Engineers with adequate/relevant experience

• Experience

- Technical Support experience from 3-5 years in troubleshooting, installation

and commissioning of Fire Alarm and Public Address Systems with at least

some relevant exposure to Honeywell systems & products (Notifier / Morley).

- Good Knowledge of Fire Systems and Life Safety Products.

• Technical

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel 2007, Outlook 2007.

• Aptitude

- Strong Customer Service Acumen.

• Soft

- Effective Team Player.

- Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal & Written.

Additional qualifications:

• Experience

- One year or more of work experience in a voice based technical support

process would be preferable

- Certifications in conventional/addressable Fire Alarm Systems preferred.

- Hands-on knowledge of any other Honeywell products (Esser/PAVA, etc.)

would be an added advantage.

- Familiarity with any form of CRM platforms (Salesforce.com, etc.) would be an

added advantage.

• Soft

- Good Typing Speed with Accuracy.

YOU MUST HAVE
