We are seeking a Project Leader in Houston, TX for Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) part of Automation and Control Solutions (ACS), a $15.9 billion strategic business group of Honeywell. In this role, you will provide technical support for the Houston Customer Integration Center assembly production & wiring facility. This position leads team members in areas of the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) management systems, standardized work, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, material flow and workmanship standards. Applicant must have the ability to provide leadership skills on projects that require system scheduling, manpower tracking within financial requirements. The responsibilities include cabinet assembly, wiring and design of marshalling termination panels, special consoles, network cabinets and third party cabinets. Must be able develop and provide solutions with internal Project engineering team and the customer. You will work with Honeywell Project Operations engineering personnel to implement project scope and schedule. Schedule appropriate manpower requirements and leading this skilled work force to ensure project completion per schedule. The Project Leader will conduct project kick-off, close out and status meeting with customers and project engineers as part of the factory acceptance testing (FAT) support. Responsible for system quality, document control, delivery and financial requirements. Support quality standards to ensure continuous improvement which enables and perpetuates itself through a supportive structure, high performance management systems and specific leadership roles and responsibilities.
Drive a team in exceptional performance in safety, quality, delivery and cost. Maintaining high quality workmanship standards and performing these duties within the scheduled time and cost constraints.
Responsible for insuring the quality of work being done by employees and supplemental workers.
Act as the focal point for material flow, assembly, tests, software loading and delivery.
