We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience and background to deliver networking and cyber solutions to our customers in the field and to mentor junior team members. This is a field position servicing customers in the US West region (West of the Mississippi) and Latin America.

Honeywell Industrial Cyber Security Team is seeking a senior level Industrial Networking and Cyber Security Expert to provide network and cyber security support and consulting services to Honeywell's Industrial customer base across multiple industrial verticals such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Pulp, Paper & Printing, Life Sciences, Metals, Minerals & Mining, to name a few. The position will be in our Houston, TX location. This is a "full-time" position reporting to the Cyber Security Operations Manager West US/Latin America.

YOU WILL:

· Assume lead and/or support role in assigned projects insuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the employee's Manager or the customer

·Assist with training other cyber/network consultants in Industrial networking and security

·Implement and/or configure network devices and security controls to meet customer or best practices specifications

· Keep technically current with the Honeywell networking product/systems portfolio, while maintaining expert knowledge on specific designated network and/or cyber disciplines; Maintain Network and Security certifications (CCNA, CISSP, etc.)

· Develop sound and trusted relationships with team members by provide accurate and efficient support

·Respond to inquiries, questions and issues by diagnosing problems and providing the most appropriate technical solution in an accurate and timely manner

·Maintain industrial safety awareness through the completion of pertinent safety certifications and training

· Be required to travel up to 50% to customer sites/some international travel

* YOU MUST HAVE: *

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer information systems/Electronics or in lieu of degree, 8 years of experience in industrial networking or security services
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience performing network services at customer sites
  • Minimum 8+ years’ knowledge of current industry Network and Security Standards such as IEC-62443, NIST, NERC CIP or similar
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience with Microsoft Windows (Windows 7-10, Server 2008R2, 2012, 2016) Operating System (Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server) and the supporting security features available to each Operating System
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card

WE VALUE:

  • Experience with computer networking concepts (switch, routing, and access control) and network design best practices; Understanding of LAN and wireless networking principles and protocols including Ethernet, switches, routers TCP/IP, VLAN and Firewalls
  • Networking certification (CCNA, CCDA, etc.) Security Certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CRISC) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
  • Linux Security Basics/Process Control Experience/Virtualization experience or certifications
  • Excellent writing/reporting/communication skills
