An exciting Project Manager opportunity has opened in Kanata, ON. Honeywell Global Tracking Search & Rescue products and solutions have been at the center of leading Search & Rescue operations around the globe for decades. The unmatched expertise of Honeywell Global Tracking lets you reliably receive and process distress beacon data from COSPAS-SARSAT satellites, pinpoint emergency locations, and distribute SAR data to Rescue Coordination Centers for efficient and comprehensive Search & Rescue operations. You will own full program management through a project’s life-cycle including planning, developing, testing, producing and deploying new products. You will lead execution of all assigned programs while maintaining exceptional and consistent performance within budget and requirements. You will provide direct, effective communication to business leadership on assigned programs.

Ensure effective coordination, integration, and interaction with the sponsoring business team

Manage customer relationships as it relates to programmatic ownership; support / leads-where-applicable negotiations related to programmatic control (scope, schedule, cost, recovery, delivery, and the like)

Generate and implement program plans and business requirements within approved budget and schedule constraints

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5 years of project management experience

  • Training and qualification in formal and systematic methods of program planning and management
  • Ownership and accountability and ability to motive others

  • Ability to think strategically while tactically setting goals and tasks scope
  • Ability to travel, including internationally
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification desired
  • MBA is an asset
