Honeywell Buildings Connected Living is an entrepreneurial organization aggressively extending its

product portfolio into the ASEAN market. The Building Connected Living GM will apply a strong start-up

mindset to hire and lead an exceptional sales, marcom, product marketing, and operations team, which

can execute with class leading speed and precision. In this high profile role, the candidate will provide

strategic business and P&L leadership for ASEAN, establish comprehensive business plans, develop ecommerce,

retail as well as trade/B2B sales channels, define an execute a comprehensive marketing

programs, generate new product specifications, support new product launches, optimize internal

operations and supply chain processes, to drive sales growth and meet business goals. The incumbent

will be responsible for managing internal processes across functions and across geographies, and lead

employees to measure and achieve business goals for quarterly review with senior management. The

incumbent will work closely with regional and global Building leaders to ensure achievement of Annual

Operating Plan (AOP) and customer satisfaction and be responsible for setting up a sustainable future

direction for the long term growth of business through Honeywell’s Strategy Process (STRAP).

1. General Management:

 Lead Overall P&L business and a multi-disciplinary team as the General Manager of ASEAN

Building Connected Living.

 Hire, coach, and grow a fully capable high performance local team

 Demonstrate bias for action, ownership of growth targets and sales and marketing plans,

customer satisfaction and end to end business planning.

 Learn, embrace, and implement Honeywell’s “Becoming the Chinese Competitor (BCC)”

strategy for ASEAN Connected Living Business with key focus on coordination, communication,

creative problem solving, and speed of execution.

 Be an active member of the Honeywell Building ASEAN and Greater China Leadership Team

 Implement Honeywell Operating System (HOS)

2. Sales Management

 Provide leadership to local ASEAN sales teams for achieving sales targets and gross margin

targets across the assigned product portfolio of Honeywell Building Connected Living.

 Co-Ordinate with Customer Marketing and Specification teams to Drive orchestrated demand

generation initiatives and Lead the engagement with key customers and influencers like

consultants, end users and channel partners.

 Manage and strengthen relationships with sales channels (System Integrators and Distributors)

to drive sales growth, proactively resolve conflicts.

 Forecast sales objectives, annual sales targets, and profits by region and city for existing and

new products

3. Products and Marketing:

 Take ownership of all customer satisfaction metrics and proactively resolve customer issues.

 Work closely with customers to develop new solutions and expand existing business base.

 Work with Honeywell Human User Experience team (HUE) to formulate effective solutions

across consumer touch points along the end to end customer journey

 Benchmark competitor’s marcom and sales strategies, tactics, and products.

 Work closely with product marketing to drive priorities for new product requirements

 Drive product segmentation and product mix strategies to fully leverage the Homes product

portfolio for the ASEAN market across mass distribution, and specialized verticals

 Continue to build best-in-class ecosystem of channels, customers, Influencers, Industry experts,

and vendors

 Provide visible leadership and stage presence at key industry and opinion shaping events and

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred), MBA from a top Business School – Highly


  • 10 Plus years of experience with General Management and P&L exposure for at least 2-3 years

Experience in FMCG and Consumer Appliances highly desirable. With HVAC, IOT, and security

desirable + Experience ranging from startup or small company to large corporate organization. + Proven sales performance track record with related product categories
