Regional Safety Sales Specialist

Position Description:

  • The Regional Safety Sales Specialist is responsible for developing Safety business within EMEA as part of Honeywell Process Solution (HPS) Plant and Personnel Safety Break Through Initiative (BTI)
  • Identifying Safety potential within industrial market, address customers’ needs and risks by Honeywell safety solutions. Establish relation with customer’s stakeholder to position Honeywell as their Safety partner/advisor.
  • Coordinate with other Honeywell Business Unites for Industrial Safety related offerings to form OneHoneywell Safety Solution. Work closely with HPS Sales organization to create new opportunities, penetrate new customers and new markets.
  • Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers to build relationshipsand understand customer business in order to provide appropriate Safety products or solutions. Define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with safety objectives. Identify Safety opportunities and build credibility with customers. Utilize product and solution knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers
  • Increase overall performance of the organization by creating strong customer relationships and new customer partnerships within the organization
  • Develop and maximize Honeywell presence and market share in designated accounts and territory
  • Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Sales Organization
  • Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our organization.
  • You will build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions.
  • You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives.
  • You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Safety business development plan for regions of responsibilities to achieve target AOP Grow pipeline of safety related opportunities to 4 times annual orders target.
  • Work closely with sales organization to meet their safety target through, map out strategy to win existing opportunities, defining new BTI PPS potential, penetrate new customers and markets.
  • Support Proposal team and different Line Of Business to ensure delivering high quality winning solution (Technical and Commercial)
  • Coordinate with other Honeywell Business Units such as UOP, HIS, HSF and HBS to offer their products as safety solutions.
  • Prioritize with the Vertical Market and other Business Leaders (particularly Fire and Gas Leader) new solution offerings and value propositions based on market needs
  • Actively participate in new product development programs, reviewing and supporting NPI process as it relates to safety solutions.
  • Identify Opportunities, Negotiate and Close Articulate and Deliver Value Proposition
  • Manage Momentum Through the Sales Cycle Establish Rapport with Customers

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 10 years experience in industrial automation market, selling to major process industries including Oil and Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, Power, Chemicals, MMM, Pulp and Paper
  • Preferable to have Safety Technical knowledge like Fire & Gas, ESD, Process Safety etc.

Experience selling safety offerings portfolios direct and through third party channels will be an advantage + Familiar with major regional safety related specifications related to process industries. Undergraduate degree required (preferably in an engineering or technical field)Business thinker, effective collaboration with peers as well as with executive functional, and senior business leaders. + Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
