Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) has an excellent opportunity for a Connected Buildings Software Sales Sr. Business Consultant, Alerton Channel with a national sales territory based in Seattle, WA. The position reports to the Connected Buildings Software Sales Leader, Americas and matrixed to the Channel Sales Leader. In this new role you will be responsible for selling a portfolio of existing and newly created Connected Services, Software as a Service (SaaS), Cloud and Buildings “Internet of Things” (IoT) solutions, and related services to new and existing customers through Alerton Channel Partners. You will be responsible for supporting the Channel’s customer acquisition sales strategies, tactics, and processes leveraging Honeywell and Third Party software based solutions to solve new customer’s most critical business problems. You will also be responsible for supporting the Channel’s development of new opportunities with the Connected Buildings Software portfolio.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sell through Channels, recurring software recurring licensing agreements of HBT’s Connected Services Portfolio including Vector Occupant App, Vector Space Sense, Outcome Based Services, Sentience Cloud, Data Analytics and Reporting and future solutions as they are developed in the assigned national territory to new and existing customers
  • Responsible for achieving annual orders plan while following established pricing policies.
  • Identify and communicate the strengths and weaknesses of the Connected Buildings Software value propositions and making required adjustments based on market intelligence working closely with the marketing, technology and Channel Partner teams
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients. Build high level executive/SVP relationships resulting in long term partnerships
  • Be willing to travel as necessary throughout the assigned territory

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of Software as Service (Saas), Enterprise Cloud, Mobility, IT, Apps or related business to business industry experience in the commercial and institutional buildings markets.
  • 5 years of Software Sales experience selling to directly to Channels with key end user relationships
WE VALUE
  • 8 years sales experience in the commercial buildings industry with National market knowledgeConsultative selling experience
  • Proven experience acquiring and selling to customer through Channels
  • Experience cold calling, creating demand, selling entry point offerings in a short sales cycle leading to further enterprise adoption of software platforms
  • Solid understanding of customer financials and the ability to build business case investments
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills with the ability to understand the customer needs, negotiate complex sales and total value offerings to Channel Partners
