* Role Summary *
The Marketing Development Manager for Packaging & Composites f/m demonstrates accountability for Honeywell’s Marketing activities of primary packaging films (Aclar®-brand) in the Healthcare sector. In this customer-facing role you will establish and maintain strong contacts to key stakeholders in Pharmaceutical companies as well as to Honeywell’s convertor customers. You will drive growth by assisting customers in their efforts to create value via packaging, holistically Customers will take your advice in the field of primary packaging selection based on your thorough understanding of Pharmaceutical Development processes and unmet customer needs. You are strong team player who shares customer insights in a global and cross-functional team consisting of peers, technical and key account managers.
* Essential Responsibilities *
_ Customer & End-user Sales Visits _
: Prioritize and lead visits to key direct customers and end users, to position pharmaceutical packaging products, promote sales and gather market intelligence. _ Advisor’s role on packaging materials _ : Network with key Pharmaceutical stakeholders in the areas Packaging Development, Drug Formulation, Packaging Operations, Supply Chain and Marketing departments and provide advice, help resolve problems, overcome obstacles specific to packaging material. _ Market Analysis _ : Compile information from internal and public information sources to identify attractive customers and applications. Support new product development activities with pharmaceutical market research by conducting customer interviews, attending industry events to understand unmet customer needs. Translate customer needs into new product development ideas _ New Customer Acquisition _ : Utilize market research to identify, prioritize and win new customers as well as position new products to customers in the pharmaceutical industry. _ New Product Development _ : Use market insights to initiate and lead new product development projects. Develop go-to-market strategies and plans to launch new products. Use analytical tools to maximize value derived by customers and value captured by the company. _ Competitor Analysis _ : Monitor the activities of competitive materials suppliers as well as competitive distributors. Draw insights from information and run scenarios to develop appropriate competitive responses. _ Marketing Communications _ : Assist in the development of marketing communications programs for each market segmentTravel: 50% mostly within México and Central America with occasional travel to the US

* Qualifications/Requirements *
Bachelor degree in Business and/or Science or EngineeringRelevant experience in Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing Operations, R&D Operations or related technically complex industries (B2B) is a mustA minimum of 5+ years total business experience in primary packaging materials, background or experience in selling/purchasing/marketing in the pharmaceutical and/or medical industryExperience in pharmaceutical drug stability, drug formulation, excipients, drug delivery systems, contract research, packaging design and/or drug dossier developmentSignificant, demonstrated expertise in developing and nurturing relationships with new customersStrong executive presence, interpersonal communication and presentation skillsExcellent negotiation skills with sound business judgmentCritical thinking skills and analytical abilities to allow the candidate to quickly assess situations and opportunitiesProblem solving abilities and passionAbility to work within a multi-functional, global team structure and motivate team members and peers with strong interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrably strong analytical, strategic and financial acumenStrong oral and written communication skillsMulti-lingual candidates with fluency in English
