The position is Strategic Marketing Manager– LATAM for our Honeywell Advanced Materials (AM) business, based inMéxico City, Mexico andwill report to General Manager – LATAM for AM and work closely with AM Global marketing leaders.
This position will be responsible for marketing strategy, product & customer marketing, pricing and other marketing specialist’s roles for Honeywell Advanced Materials. The goal of the position is to drive profitable above-market growth by implementing strategic & tactical marketing programs and managing complete portfolio ofAdvanced Materialsfor LATAM region. The LATAM Marketing Manager will lead the activities across Marketing disciplines of strategic marketing, product marketing, channel marketing, pricing and marketing communications.
The Strategic Marketing Leader for AM is responsible for:
_ Strategic Marketing Management _
Leadership in setting the strategic marketing focus for products, channel strategy and ISC strategy for different product categories/ LOBs vis-à-vis different customer segments.
Key focal to develop the 5 year rolling strategic plan (STRAP) for the region along with the Business Leader and the LATAM leadership team to deliver above the market profitable growth.
Enable the execution of key STRAP initiatives through the principles of HOS with transforming STRAP objectives into the X-Matrix tool to drive flawless execution.
In keeping with the STRAP, assist the Business Leader and the leadership team in developing the Annual Operating Plan for the following year; effective communication via presentations of this plan to the Global Leadership team to effectively align various stakeholders to the investments vis-à-vis growth opportunities.
Driving the strategic planning process which includes identifying high-opportunity profitable markets, adjacencies, and/or segments and planning for the organization's market entry and success.
Providing strategic marketing leadership to the Business Leader’s team (Sales, Marketing Finance, Operations and Customer Service) working at the LATAM region whilst giving strategic direction and leadership to the Marketing function across all sub regions of México, CSAR and Brazil.
Conduct thorough assessment of customer and market requirements, new and existing technologies, branding and/or licensing opportunities and M&A target.
Analyze long-term market trends, changing customer needs, and evaluate competitive landscape in order to develop a business strategy that ensures AM’ long-term success.
Drive implementation of strategic initiatives which are common to Honeywell businesses across PMT within the region.

_ Previous Work Experience _
Should possess Strategic, Product Management and Channel Management experience in a similar Business to Business Product company with relevant Chemical industry experience.Very strong general product marketing skills (conducting VOCs/ OVOCs, market segmentation, competitive positioning, identifying CTQs, developing value proposition and flawless execution of product launches).Proven record of exceptional program management of NPI at the previous role with focus on product/platform thinking for new customer segments and emerging markets.Demonstrated ability to influence and direct resources across multiple functions ranging from engineering, marketing, quality, sourcing at the same time bringing an integrative thinking with demonstrated business acumen (being a counsel to a General Manager’s leadership team).Strategic thinking and a demonstrated ability to provide and articulate the future vision for Product Development.Identifying and understanding market and technology trends, and linking them to business strategy; strong aptitude for technology
Understanding of microeconomics and financial concepts and the link them to business strategy
Strong financial and excel modeling skills, and excellent power point slide preparationExperience in conducting secondary and primary research; competitive analysisThe successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the security and fire industry in Central America, Caribbean, Andean Region & South Cone.

Undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering with MBA from a recognized Business School preferred.Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
