As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you work with process control and telecommunication project teams to develop requests for quotation, negotiate and execute subcontracts for projects which include labor, equipment, and materials. You will have ownership of several goals and will maintain and produce metric reports on the progress. Good communication skills are required because you will participate in meetings, phone conferences, and emails with the project management teams, and with sourcing management.This role will report in a matrix relationship with program managers and will work together with engineers, managers, schedulers, estimators, and sales.
Serve as Procurement Lead on automation or telecommunication project teamsSolicit, negotiate and contract for subcontracts and purchase ordersMeasure and manage cost savings and other metricsConsistently follow all Finance, Control and Procurement policies and procedures

25 Maintaining record metric and database information
Bachelor’s Degree in either; Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering, or Business.
Construction, Engineering, Automation, and Telecommunication project experience
Thorough understanding of the Uniform Commercial Code, and contract terms and conditions
Systems such as; SAP, Siebel, Microsoft Project and MS Office experience
Self starters and early delivery of deliverables
Ability to work in Cross Functional, Fast Paced Team Environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Punctuality, commitment, and focus on goals
