The Field Service Technician is critical to the smooth operation of our customer’s distribution centers and will be required to supervise and work alongside a team of Specialist Service Technicians performing work involving troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on our customer’s various material handling systems. The Field Service Technician will ensure preventive maintenance schedules are met, both mechanically and electrically, with support from other internal engineers and repairs are made when needed. The Field Service Technician will also have the ability to analyze recurring process failures and conduct the appropriate analysis for resolution. The Field Services Technician will represent Honeywell on site and will also need to follow our customers’ guidelines for general work practices outlined on site.

40 Install or Repair Work Orders

30 Provide Customer Support

30 Adhere to safety standards

* YOU MUST HAVE *

  • Bachelor's degree, or mechanical or electrical engineering diploma or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in the field.
  • Previous experience in a customer focused role
  • Knowledge of Safety Standards including OSHA, Hazardous Waste, Lockout Tagout, Arc Flash, confined workplace, etc.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety act

  • Previous experience in Automated Equipment industry
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently
  • Ability to use experience to appropriately apply the established standards
