Manage spend/save projects for country localization and high growth region projects to support

the commodity leaders. Duties to include, project identification, project support on drawings, data analysis, auction creation, and project management.

Work with Commodity leads to keep projects on schedule, support any engineering requests to push project to close, ensure supplier and price implementation and HGR/localization spend report out is accurate.

In this highly strategic and focus in manage the plastics commodity Spend and Saving for Country Localization & High Growth Region projects. The individual will be key for Project identification, project support, data analysis, auction creation, and project management, working very close with Region CMs & GCTL to keep projects on schedule, support any engineering request and push out for project completion, support any report out from project progress as well as ensure negotiated price is implemented. Pursue aggressive productivity and performance targets and supply needs across our plastic, rubber and gasket spend with assigned suppliers, production sites escalations to ensure day to day production, and design sites. Their responsibilities will also involve strategic and tactical support, as needed, with those assigned

suppliers and sites.

* Contribute to the global plastic sourcing strategy in collaboration with the strategy team and the global category team leader.

* Lead negotiations with assigned suppliers (face to face and virtual)

* Achieve productivity/cycle time results as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

* Drive key initiatives with the supply base – Lead times, Payment Terms, PFEP, HOS, etc.

* Champion relationship with key supplier partners to drive performance in quality, cost, and other metrics

* Support tactical escalations to reach both corporative goals and day to day procurement supply assurance.

20 Contribute to the global plastic sourcing strategy in collaboration with the strategy team

20 Lead negotiations with assigned suppliers (face to face and virtual)

20 Achieve productivity/cycle time results as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

20 Drive key initiatives with the supply base – Lead times, Payment Terms, PFEP, HOS, etc.

20 Support tactical escalations to reach both corporative goals and day to day procurement supply

* Bachelor’s degree

* 5+ years Commodity/Category Specialist or Senior Procurement experience

* Experience in sourcing and purchasing of plastic components

* 3/4 Years experience in Sourcing/Procurement

* Green belt Certification.

* Strong competence with Microsoft Excel.

* Good English skills (Written and Verbal)

* Small travel (<15%) to other Mexico sites

* Demonstrated sourcing skills managing spend and suppliers

* Experience inPlastic and Molding Plastics process
