For our Air & Water business, we are looking for our site in Mosbach for an
Chemielaborant/in / Water Lab Engineer
• Qualified sampling, chemical water analysis, evaluation and documentation of the test results
•Carrying out water analyzes on products for water treatment
•Assessment of chemical and biological analyzes according to the requirements of global and national standards and regulations
•Participation on development and optimization of water treatment equipment
•Perform root cause analysis on material corrosion, quality-relevant returns
•Planning, evaluation and validation of material alteration studies under the influence of water
•Participate on development of sensors for measuring water hygiene
•Development of innovative methods and technologies for measuring water quality
•Build up and supervision of a chemical laboratory in Mosbach
•Supervision of analyzers and measuring devices for functional and operational maintenance
•Continuous optimization of laboratory processes, creation of procedures and their validation
•Active participation on standardization activities on an international level
•Responsibility for the hygienic certification of Materials and Water products
•Standard understanding and team coaching for hygienic standards

Experience / Education Required:
•Completed education as Chemical Engineer ( or Chemietechniker)
• Min 3 years of relevant experince
• Knowledge of classical wet chemical analysis methods
•Knowledge of the standards, regulations, guidelines and standards for hygiene and water quality in drinking water and service water worldwide
•Knowledge of measuring drinking water hygiene and water quality
•Knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry
Would be beneficial:
•Knowledge of sensor technology for measuring water hygiene and quality
•Knowledge of filter technology and water treatment in the drinking and service water sector
•Knowledge of drinking water and process water through materials
•Knowledge of material resistance and material influence through drinking and service water applications
•Knowledge of the corrosion and aging behavior of materials in contact with drinking and service water
