This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Homes and Global Distribution team at Honeywell! Homes and Global Distribution is a leader in the home heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) controls and security markets, and a leading global distributor of security and fire protection products. In 2018, Honeywell will be spinning off the Homes and Global Distribution business into a stand-alone, publicly traded company. Being a stand-alone company will provide the business the independence, focus, direct financial resources, and flexibility required to adapt quickly to market and customer dynamics, and we want you to be part of its evolution.

  • Partnering with Honeywell Building Solutions to drive sales of Honeywell Security & Fire products through ADI
  • Growing The ADI and HSF business with HBS globally
  • Working with Honeywell Building Solutions globally on large projects to specify Honeywell branded products and solutions through ADI
  • Partnering with in-house resources and vendors to create project scope of work to summarize in clear terms the system functionality specific to client/end user needs for each project
  • Generating new business through HBS and their subcontractor base
  • Maintaining and building relationships with HBS and HSF and alternative manufacturers
  • Assisting HBS with product selection, solution design, and provide high level technical/educational support
  • Improving internal ADI and HSF processes to better serve HBS
  • Gaining HBS mindshare at the branch, regional level and global levels
  • Meeting or exceeding individual goals and team quotas on a monthly basis
  • Providing order and job registration support as needed to HBS and ADI employees
  • Supervising the progress of projects
  • Identifying new manufacturer partnerships to drive growth
  • Assisting in educational and training programs for HBS field sales
  • Strengthening relationships with HBS global Procurement, RSML and Commodity leaders

​Increase Market Share by performing sales efforts to convert potential customers to ADI customers.

Strengthen current customer relationships by supporting customer service efforts, conducting follow-up calls, educating customers about new product lines and keeping abreast of new developments in the industry.

Proactively drive market intelligence gathering, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver sales wins.

Ensure positive relationships within the ADI organization to encourage team sales and create priority service for customers.

Implement various customer trainings in order to drive sales growth in assigned territory.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • 4+ years of sales experience: CCTV, IP, AV technologies, Security and Fire
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean motor vehicle history and a driving record in good standing
