Lead I&E Maintenance Technican

Lead a team that maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment. You will work under minimal supervision and support some of the world's most talented production maintenance technicians.

You will use your maintenance technician expertise to conduct preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. You will lead, direct the work of, mentor and train other maintenance technicians.

Deliver value every day to Honeywell's customers

Perform Scheduled and non-scheduled work orders

Perform all compliance and scheduled (Preventive Maintenance) PM's

Ensure plant coverage during off-shift hours

Communicate with planners and order non-stock parts

Read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&Ids

Maintain shop files, prints, loop sheets, spec sheets

Properly use high voltage test equipment

Re-fuse high voltage lines

Troubleshoot and repair motors for bearing and electrical failure

Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures and photo cells

Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation

Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation

Repair and calibrate laboratory equipment

Install, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Understand and troubleshoot various types of natural gas fired equipment including lighting and temperature control issues

80 Equipment troubleshooting level transmitters pressure indicators and Programmable Logic Controllers

20 Electrical repair/replace of breakers, motors, wiring and motor control centers

YOU MUST HAVE
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience as an Instrument and Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment
WE VALUE
  • 2 Year Technical degree in instrumentation and/or electrical preferred
  • Have a working knowledge of process control fundamentals
  • Know how to tune PID controllers
  • Have a working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCSs)
  • Applications including tanks, hoppers and finished product packaging systems
