Be a part of a special organization! Chief Engineers have the highest level of technical authority at Honeywell Aerospace, leading teams and approaches to develop world-leading electronic designs in aerospace applications!

Be recognized as a technical excellence authority on electrical component technology, both internally and externally to Honeywell. You will assist and manage various teams on differentiated technology roadmap development, leading advanced and strategic products and technologies, governing expert oversight on risk identification and mitigation. You will be a focal point on technical knowledge which you will share with the team and will use to develop strong customer connections. You will promote Honeywell as a world technology leader by external engagements on customer's symposia, national and international technical conferences and Universities across the globe.

The leader in this role will:

  • Own and drive technical roadmaps, strategically leading our approach to implementing the latest component technologies
  • Interface with global programs and teams to ensure the processes and tools are in place for all our global design teams
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve the most complex issues facing our engineering teams
  • Actively engage in industry consortiums and conferences, representing Honeywell

This position may be located at any Honeywell Phoenix area location, AZ or Clearwater, FL.

* YOU MUST HAVE *

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Technology
  • 10 plus years of experience in industry managing electrical design and/or component engineering

* WE VALUE *

  • Master 's degree or Ph.D. in a related field
  • Significant experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiarity with safety critical applications or regulated industries
  • Ability to provide high value contribution in development of new products and processes
  • Ability to inspire business leaders and partners to embrace new concepts and practices
  • Strong technical capability and problem solving methodologies to establish effective solutions for highly complex problems
  • Demonstrated business impact and continuous improvement drive
  • Proven industry collaboration and connections with technical leaders in your field
