This position is in the Global Technical Support team of the Global Repair and Overhaul Organization (Engineering and Technology PSE -EOPS) supporting Performance Based Logistics (EPBL) United States Air Force (USAF) contract.
Coordinate repair development and repair technology deployment as applicable to the repair of SCAS/APU/ Propulsion components related to F-15, C-130, B-1B, B-2, F-16, E-3 platforms
Manage Define repair opportunities - review/accept/ deny insuring repairs that do not jeopardize original design intent, are cost effective
Developed repairs to support issues noted by USAF, includes standardization
Participate on Program Teams as well as be a focal point for communicating information through the Honeywell R&O repair development, O/H engineers, OEM Engineering teams and USAF Engineering staff
Drive productivity through implementation of new or enhanced repairs managing prioritization to needs of USAF
Globally manage new and revised Authorizing Documents (ex. - ORI's, Technical Manuals, etc.)
Collaborate with USAF / HON on Material Shortages with Review of Alternate Options
Support Supplier sourcing and transitions to ensure product availability
Provide guidance to USAF in coordinating OEM/specialist involvement in issues
Facilitate communication between the R&O Global Project Engineering, the USAF repair development teams and OE project engineering to manage the product repair priorities
Program manages repair activity on products
Establishes milestones and tracks to schedule
