Lead Aircraft Mechanic

Join Honeywell's Flight Operations department ensuring that aircrafts are certifiably airworthy by overseeing and performing regular servicing and required repairs of avionic and mechanical equipment for safe aircraft operation. You will apply knowledge of aviation, regulations and intensive technical knowledge to diagnose, fix and maintain structural, mechanical and electronic elements of the aircraft and determine repair or replacement needs. You will analyze safety practices to ensure compliance with federal regulations. You will liaison with aircraft inspectors, flight and ground staff to lead the repairs/servicing of aircraft to ensure the safety of crew and passengers.

Provide the safest and most reliable travel experience for Honeywell executives through effective aircraft maintenance exceeding safety standards

Identify and implement improvements in aircraft servicing and repair, ensuring aircraft are in peak operating condition

Implement plans to achieve department goals and ensure flight operations are at the highest levels of efficiency and compliance

20 Oversee aircraft repair and servicing

20 Inspect on-going maintenance

20 Engine and system testing

20 Troubleshoot and fix problems

20 Maintain repair logs, scheduling

YOU MUST HAVE
  • High School Diploma or GED and Airframe Power Plant (A&P) license required
