Principal Cyber Security Engineer

In this role, you will be integral in creating security solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and regulatory agencies. You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Apply systems and security engineering knowledge, tools, and principals while working with product development subject matter experts to develop and secure our products and services

Support the design and security of high tech systems and solutions within the connected aircraft enhancing not only the passenger experience but also the crew, operator, and ground service station’s need for information

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline
  • 5 years’ experience working with cyber security requirements and methodologies
  • 8 years of engineering experience

WE VALUE

  • Some experience in a program leadership role
  • Knowledge of systems development lifecycle
  • Strong systems or software design skills
  • Software product development and certification experience
  • Working knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, ARP4754, DO-178, DO-278, DO-326, NIST
  • Python or similar scripting language knowledge
  • CISSP or similar cyber security certification
  • Experience with system security assessment (security testing, risk and vulnerability assessments)
  • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
  • Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Demonstrated skills/abilities in the following areas: capability to multi-task and manage competing priorities, drives and meets stretch goals, demonstrates trust and works effectively with peers, management and customers, develops and implements action plans to meet objectives, proactively identifies and resolves issues and drives continuous improvement
