Sr Materials Analyst - Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley)

Expertise the implementation of material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Honeywell Aerospace. You will engage in the execution and follow up with policies, procedures and material control systems. You will identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. You are expected to lead project teams within the business.

Keep Honeywell's production lines moving by ensuring materials are well scheduled, evaluated and accurately delivered on time, every time

Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results

Use your agility and ability to support clients to solve escalations and achieve metrics

25 Resolve material related problems

10 Coordinate among purchasing, production and engineering

10 Engage in the entire materials operation process

25 Inter-divisional operations customer interface

30 Continuous improvement

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE
  • Some production, materials or systems planning experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning processes is desired
  • Knowledge in lean, six sigma tools and problem solving methodology
  • Knowledge in Project Management
  • Mentor junior members
  • Strong experience in Materials management
