The Software Engineer implements Software projects (with coaching from the Lead Engineer) for an integrated system or sub-system. The Software Engineer provides input and contributes to the planning, reporting and Software implementation.
Advanced knowledge in C/C++/C#, SQL (or relevant database knowledge)
Proficient in debugging and modifications for existing code to customize solutions
Installation/Configuration of Servers/Workstations with Windows / UNIX/QNX
Proactive, Flexible, quick learner
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customer key project personnel.
Proven ability to work with a small team (4-5 members) and cross functional team with other disciplines like Mechanical/Electrical/PLC etc.
Capable of supporting engineering activities for medium and large complex projects. Ability to work with diverse cultures and customers. Willing to travel to remote locations in the region.
Strong communication skills to work with colleagues and customers from many nationalities.
Has an understanding of the marketplace and general business environment
Understands and is familiar with the use of quality principles i.e. TQM
Assists Lead Engineer in the development of logic, code, test plans and documentation etcAssists with storing turnover documentation in proper locationMaintains and tracks issues list and report progress to Lead EngineerMonitors and works from project tasks lists and timelines; reports progress on a regular basisParticipates in initial System Design ReviewContributes to system architecture, description of operation, functional specifications, and interface documentsAdheres to and validates project specifications while maintaining as sold scopeParticipates in code review meetingsParticipates in executing test plans on-site, both internal and customer acceptance/BUAT/UAT/FATParticipates in lessons learned post-mortem engineering reviewAttends weekly team meetings; reviews scheduled tasks/timelinesContributes to test plans (Internal, In-House, Site, Commissioning, and Acceptance)Provides site/field reports daily, including progress, issues, and next steps.Updates all field as-builts and facilitates future turnover to CSSAttends customer related approval meetings as requestedCommunicates and brings to closure all internal and customer created issue alerts.May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Software or Computer Engineering

Minimum 1-5 years of Software Engineering experience is required.
