As an experienced assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical equipment that is mission critical for the navigation of almost every aircraft you see in the sky. Your highest quality assembly and inspection work will ensure the safety and accuracy to our customers, and ultimately, the safety of people around the world. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area, and participate in the continuous improvement process to address safety, production and quality improvements.
In this role, you will be given the opportunity to use your proven assembly experience to:
·Perform a variety of repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly tasks, with limited guidance
·Follow well defined procedures relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform most functions of the job
·Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units per product specifications
·Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs, as necessary
·Complete formal training in area of specialty
·Responsible for meeting production cycle time goals
·Responsible for maintaining quality in completed products
·Maintain work station, area, and tooling in neat, orderly condition
·May conduct quality inspection on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
·May disassemble, modify, limited rework, reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies per specifications and under simulated conditions
·Meet company guidelines on attendance
·Identify and report the need for Standard Work change
·Refers all questionable conditions to the Team Leader or Supervisor
·Operate assigned equipment
·Participate in continuous improvement activities
·Support the Honeywell Operating System
·Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
·Comply with Safety Procedures
·Perform other duties as required
3rd shift works from 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday – Friday.

You Must Have:
·High School Diploma/GED
·Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident due to contractual requirements
·Some hand assembly experience of small and micro-electronic components
· Some experience assembling under a microscope
·Ability to functionally work with a computer
·Exposure and utilization of lean manufacturing concepts
·Technical or vocational degree
·Prior experience in a clean room environment
·Experience with small hand tools (ex. Epoxy dispenser, tweezers, watch oilers, etc.)
·Familiar with ESD
·Experience working with chemicals
·Knowledge of machine setup (tooling, fixturing)
·Detail oriented with strong communication skills
