You will exemplify the site safety culture and expectations in the factory and ensure compliance to company policies and legal requirements for industrial health, safety, and environmental stewardship. You will drive safety training, certifications, inspections, and audits. You will own and maintain the site’s safety and environmental metrics, incident reports, corrective actions in online tracking systems as well as the
Site Level Risk Assessment and Site HSE Calendar. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and will represent the site to HSE leadership. You will help identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead the implementation of improvements to decrease risk and improve safety. You will be a catalyst
of change and a key figure in the management of change at the site. You will also be an essential contributor to the site’s implementation of and advancement within the Honeywell Operating System (lean manufacturing).
Empowered to manage a full spectrum of HSE responsibilities at a manufacturing site with significant independence and self-direction
High visibility role within the company with frequent interactions with outside functions and HSE Leadership
A key role in strategic planning and the growth of the factory towards HOS Silver certification
