IT Analyst - Time & Attendance

The HR IT Time and Attendance System Analyst provides the business with meaningful metrics, reporting and predictive analytics into key strategic issues related to labor and workforce management. This position will have primary responsibility as our in-house Kronos expert, but will also utilize other HR platforms. This position acts as liaison between IT, Operations, HR, and Payroll to ensure systems are meeting or exceeding business requirements. This role will require application configuration, interface, testing, deployment, and policy integration. This is a visible individual contributor role which will require both technical acumen as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.

Serve as the subject matter expert for Kronos (timekeeping, scheduling and reporting for all locations across the enterprise, and assist managing critical activities including system upgrades, user acceptance testing and roll-outs

Analyze business needs and the impact of proposed configuration changes and make recommendations to leadership Understand the Honeywell’s strategic and operating plans as they relate to management of the workforce and standardization

Communicate analyses and insights to leaders by summarizing conclusions, translating analytics into clear, understandable themes, and identify analytics that drive actionable insights

Ensure system configuration and integrations are kept current and reflect changes and

process improvements

Ensure system configuration supports business priorities and make adjustments as necessary

Understand and administer the standard process for identifying changes which impact systems

Provide ad-hoc data requests using SQL interface , development and script execution

Solicit end user community to ensure system is provided appropriate solutions

Is a disciplined problem solver, eager to uncover effective solutions

Can draw conclusions and make recommendations from large and/or incomplete data sets

May serve as change agents who identify the organizational improvements needed, design systems to

implement those changes, and train and motivate others to use the systems

Understand the vendor technology roadmaps, and asses how they can be applied to meet Honeywell needs or operational efficiency

May be responsible for developing cost analysis, design considerations, staff impacts, and implementation timelines

YOU MUST HAVE
  • BA/BS in Business, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent workexperience
  • 4+ years Workforce Management
  • Previous experience with Kronos is essential, SAP or PeopleSoft would be a plus
  • SQL experience and an understanding of database design principles
  • Strong aptitude with MS Office tools, especially advanced Excel, Access, and OneNote
  • Ability to develop and frame analytical findings in a clear, meaningful way
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
  • Comfort working with various levels of management
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Knowledge of .Net, C#, Java, Docker, Web Services, SOAP, REST, Azure ARM, PowerShell
  • Solid understanding of software development fundamentals
  • Knowledge of contemporary Open Source development tools and automated testing frameworks
  • Some experience with software and system modeling
  • Passion for new technologies and innovation
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
