•Provide strategic direction, oversight and guidance for HSES performance at all assigned locations. This includes observing all Honeywell Policies and Standards, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance for Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Loss Prevention, Environmental, Health and Sustainability at all assigned locations.
•Assist all assigned locations with annual HSES self-assessments (SAT) and audits required as part of the governance process.
•Verify and approve the annual SAT & Assurance Letter process, as well as the closure of corrective actions for all assigned sites.
•Develop a robust Management Operating System (MOS), including regular visits to all assigned locations to control and steadily improve process performance. A minimum number of visits per year is to be established and agreed, dependent on risk, the year’s activities and site’s needs. •Assist all assigned sites with the Integration of HSES into HOS.
•Insure that newly acquired or greenfield sites are properly integrated into the Honeywell HSES MS.
•Participate in the hiring, orientation and coaching of new HSES Leaders (managers) for all assigned sites.•Provide input and approval for the annual objectives, individual performance appraisal and the identification of development needs for the site HSES Leaders at all assigned sites.
•Monitor emerging HSES legislation and regulations that impact our businesses, particularly in your assigned region.•Provide advice and assistance during any HSES regulatory visit to an assigned site.
•As appropriate, provide oversight and participate in serious incident investigations for all assigned sites.
•Regularly communicate with the Director HSES Director and the HSES staff. Provide feedback on the implications of regional HSES strategies.
•Participate in HSES Audit Teams.
•Provide assistance on HSES issues pertaining to HSES Design Reviews and/or real-estate transactions.
•Assist with the coordination and presentation of appropriate HSES training programs.
•Participate in the Regional APAC & India HSES network meetings.
•Assess and approve all Loss Prevention exception requests for assigned sites.
•Request the assistance of the Subject Matter Specialists, as appropriate, to support the assigned sites.
•Attend the TS HSES Director’s Strategy Deployment meetings.
•Manage other functional projects, as requested including capital management

· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Science or a related field from an accredited university is required. Master’s or other advanced degrees are preferred.
· 8 - 10 years’ experience in HSES or a related field, demonstrating progressive leadership
· Ability to clearly
communicate, both verbally and in writing, in English and at least one other major language used within the APAC & India Region.
· Knowledgeable about HSES regulations, Laws, legislation and trends in APAC (and India).
· Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist or other related HSES certifications are desirable.
· Strong aptitude for computer applications and database systems; able, and interested, to learn new technologies quickly.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
· Proven ability in achieving HSES performance improvements and cultural change.
· HSES Management Systems experience, such as ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000, ISO 45000, ISO 50000.
· HSES compliance and systems auditing experience is required.
· Valid driver's licence.

You see the world through the (internal) customer’s eyes and enjoy problem solving and translating ideas into realistic, pragmatic, executable plans.
