Service and Repair Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft components in accordance to the applicable Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
  • Abide by the quality control/assurance techniques including, where appropriate, signing off own work (i.e. certifies that the work completed conforms to the regulatory requirements).
  • Responsible for all quality activities that are in accordance with requirements of the Quality Manual, Company Operating Procedures and the Approvals granted by the Quality Manager.
  • Strictly adhered to system procedures e.g. ISO 9000 / Airworthiness.
  • Perform other work functions and projects of a reasonable capacity as assigned by the Team Leader.
  • Execute basic troubleshooting in repair work.
  • Maintain high quality of work output and a safe 5S environment in the workshop

    20 Construct and maintain mechanical equipment

    20 Identify parts for replacement

    20 Identify machines that need new parts

    20 Submit machine and part orders

    20 Test mechanical equipment

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Should have at least 2 years of experience in Aviation industry, MRO environment
  • Able to interpret basic schematic diagrams
  • Computer literacy (Knowledge in SAP will be preferred)
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Good understanding of QC
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills
  • Fresh Graduates are welcomed
