Be a part of a Global team responsible for Eye & Face & Head product lines as Sustaining Quality Engineers at Smithfield, Rhode Island that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality. You will report to the Global Sustaining Quality Leader (offsite)
Solve problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
Uses problem analysis to proactively identify quality process solutions.
Provide analysis of data in support of quality and process improvements.
Manage the supply chain (internal and BTS) for all aspects of quality from manufacture through to end user
Manage all quality-related requirements as defined by customers, regulatory agencies, and industry standards.
Ensure control and validation of any changes to the product via ECM process (Engineering Change Management)
Work closely with ISC Quality ensuring effective escalation of any quality issues that may impact customers.
Take decisive actions to correct known non-compliances (from every source), with emphasis on systemic and preventive corrective actions.
Drive effective problem solving using the CAPA process and 8Ds ensuring performance consistent with the AOP
Develop and deploy continuous conformance testing at sites to ensure ongoing conformance to specification
Support efforts to fully realize CE/VE cost savings opportunities and support emerging region re sourcing and supply base reduction projects
