Material Handling: Follow proper company policies and procedures when handling paperwork and inventory. Maintain consistent accuracy in shipping and receiving of products. Follow internal procedures to stock material in the showroom.
Organization / Planning: The ability to meet deadlines for shipment 'cut-off' times to customers and demonstrate the aptitude to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Team Player: The ability to exhibit team spirit effectively by interfacing with other warehouse personnel as well as sales staff. Assist in other areas as required.
Safety Practices: Follow all safety practices while performing daily responsibilities.
Work Area: Maintain a clean working environment; floor clean, aisles clear. Keep area in a neat and orderly manner, 5 S experience.
•Verify parcels received by courier
•Receive goods into the computer
•Unpack goods received and verify them against the suppliers packing slip / purchase orders
•Put away stock on the shelves or contact requestor
•Print customer shipping papers labels
•Packaging, crating, and loading of export shipments
•Prepare orders according to information shown on the packing slip
•Coordinate with shipping companies, carriers and drivers
•Filing of documents
•Prepare paperwork for export shipping
•Maintain Inventory control
