Lead Project Engineer

Launch innovations in nearly every commercial and defense aircraft platform

Use your advanced knowledge of manufacturing engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will influence the development of Honeywell's next generation of AERO products supporting new products from concept development through the start of production for manufacturing cost, yield, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support current product value engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing process while mentoring more junior engineers.

  • Use your advanced manufacturing engineering experience to support development of new products, standards and processes to achieve manufacturing goals
  • Refine and expand your supply chain and engineering knowledge by learning from highly experienced engineers and participating in challenging assignments
  • Positively impact daily production activities and drive improvement in a fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Develop Unit Product Cost models, develop and execute Cost Take Out roadmaps to ensure cost targets are met
  • Utilizing AME NPD DFM tools, identify and drive design improvements to address manufacturability and technical production readiness gaps

    35 Manages projects from program approval through introduction to production (IPDS Phase 3-5)

    20 Work with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations to ensure Producibility

    15 Meet program targets, including Yield and Cost

    15 Execute APQP across Product and Launches assigned

    15 Represent ISC in all Product Launches planned for the factory

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • Significant relevant manufacturing engineering experience
  • Application of advanced engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes

  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
