Main focus in Lognes/France is on the design, engineering and

manufacturing of BioGas stations, low pressure as well as high pressure.

Further on we are supporting the French market as well as the French speaking

part of Africa with customized solutions for gas and liquid metering &


Main Purpose of

the Job

§ Manage all

aspects related to discipline engineering - mechanical design – engineering

works (mainly piping and structural steel – appendages (valves etc.) within

liquid and gas meter & regulating opportunities / projects

§ Lead and

support the mechanical engineering discipline members assigned to the projects

§ Ensures

that all works are performed in accordance the client and international

engineering standards – engineering processes are followed as per quality

manual - and client quality level is respected keeping in mind the on-time

delivery expectations

§ Ensures customer

satisfaction – on time delivery – first time right

§ Supporting

PM for positive variation orders, upselling

§ Ensure billability improvement within the

engineering discipline


§ General:

o Responsible

for the project specific deliverables – basic design and detailed design

engineering works. This includes document preparation – calculations

– P&ID design – 3D design – productions drawing generation – structural

steel design – define piping & manufacturing specification – inspection and

test plans - equipment data sheet preparation – check bill of materials -

supporting procurement activities – supporting aftersales – etc.

Supervise the project specific

assigned respective discipline engineers and drafters in the back office

o Read and

interpret client specifications and legal/country specific regulations. Convert

into acceptable concept meeting client expectations with respect to available


o Liaise,

coordinate and monitors performance of sub-contractors / fabricators on

assigned projects

o Ensure that

general safety and health requirements for both clients and company are


o Support sourcing

with vendor selection and technical evaluation of 3rd party quotations

Validate budget variations

related to discipline scope of work and updates Project Manager

Periodic customer visits

§ Knowledge


o Manage and

review / approve all project related discipline engineering documents

o Screen -

monitor the latest discipline industry standards and trends

o Act as

first support line for all mechanical related issues

o Contribute

during any mechanical discipline related meeting with clients / sub-contractors

/ inspectors etc.

o Specialist

in piping material selection / calculations / stress analysis etc.

§ Strategy:

o Support

establishing and maintain all certifications required for the facility to

design and manufacture solutions in gas and liquid applications

 Master degree in Mechanical Engineering – Piping and structural steel

Or Bachelor degree with +/- 5 years relevant experience in an equivalent position

 Experience in piping industry / liquid and gas measurement

 Experience in PED (Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC) or ASME (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code)

 Aware about the specific applicable technology codes and standards

 Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Verbal and written Communication skills. Ability to socially & technically communicate intern and extern (clients – suppliers - etc.)

Very good written and oral communication in French and English language

 Act as leader - can delegate work packages

 Ability to get familiarized in technical discipline specifics like standards – specifications – etc.

 Open for multicultural work environment

 Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
