Engineering Support Manager

In this role you will lead a team of technical support engineers, focusing heavily troubleshooting electro/mechanical, software, and controls issues. You will drive focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction. You will drive systemic and thoughtful troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause analysis. You will build internal relationships to expedite complicated issue resolution. You will develop broad understanding of customer needs. You will support the knowledge-sharing mindset. You will help develop processes and drive continuous improvement as well as adherence to existing process. You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. You will focus on determining staffing needs, enable your team through continuous training, and lead them through building a deep bench of both technical and up-coming leaders.

Lead the team that is solving complex technical problems for the customer

Drive timely responses to customer demands by supporting the coordinating efforts of different teams

Build business acumen while learning to address customer's technical needs

5 Facilitate issue identification and analysis

10 Track requests resolution

40 Manage and lead team alignment

5 Provide technical training

40 Build relationships with customers

* YOU MUST HAVE *

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field, with 5 years of relevant technical leadership. Inlieuof a degree, 10 years in the industry with relevant leadership experience.

  • Experience in the industry is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset, strong leadership impact
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and SharePoint a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with Knowledge Management & Call Center Management
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Self-motivated and strong verbal and written communication skills are required for this role
